Build Your Own Solar Oven

Class Description: Capture solar energy and use it to cook almost anything: bread, stew, casserole, meats & vegetables, desserts. We will build simple, low-tech solar ovens using common household materials like cardboard and duct tape. Then you can take your solar oven home and use it to make a dish for the Transition Cville SOLAR COOKOUT on Memorial Day, May 27, 1-3pm at Washington Park.
Please bring if you can: a cardboard box (intact), 2 or more large pieces of cardboard, a utility knife, a tape measure, a paint brush (1-2″ wide)
